Barbara H. Smith, also known as the β€œCelebrity Speaker Trainer,” is an Amazon best-selling author, entrepreneur, corporate trainer, actor, business strategist and tv show host. Her winning edge originated at the intersection of pursuing undergraduate and master’s degrees in computer information technology and her life experience as a black female in a white-male-dominated industry. With THIS as her foundation, she founded BHS & Associates, LLC in 2016 and to offer customized corporate training programs, diversity training, and executive coaching.

A media darling, Barbara has made appearances on a variety of tv and radio shows both nationally and internationally, including The Doctors, Authority Magazine and more. Additionally, Mrs. Smith is a high energy host of The Empowering You Show, airing live each week on PodTV, Roku, and Amazon Fire.

In all her work and media appearances, Barbara H. Smith uses her time, energy, and platform to help people overcome the fear of public speaking and build their lives with confident, straightforward, easy to understand techniques. Her client list includes: CapitalOne, Canon, ALCOA, and Blue Cross/Blue Shield to name a few.

She has a givers heart and serves the women and children of Natasha House, a transitional home for homeless women and their children. Barbara loves her family and is the mother of three sons, and a grandmother of nine. She currently resides in Hampton Roads, Virginia with the two of loves of her life, her husband Robert and her 83-year-old mother (mom-manager), Queen Agnes.
