Jo is a Speaking Confidence Coach, TEDx Speaker Coach, Keynote and Talk Writer, Storyteller and Speaker who is passionate about raising women’s voices and cultivating spaces where people feel genuinely seen and heard.
She is also a Mentor in Personal Sovereignty and Boundaries, empowering women’s voices and ownership of who they are both on and off stage. Jo is a hearing child of Deaf adults and a bilingual/bicultural member of the Deaf community and believes there is so much we can learn from Deaf culture about listening. As an actress with a wealth of experience across stages in Dublin, Scotland and Australia and a student of the esteemed Jacques Lecoq Theatre School in Paris, Jo cares deeply about storytelling and its ability to create connection. She has a background as a professional Auslan Interpreter, Radio Presenter and Stage Manager in Dublin (working with some of the world’s best storytellers). For over 12 years Jo has facilitated collaborative workshops globally in a human – centred design methodology. She has travelled extensively and has a depth of experience in somatic trainings, awareness and presence-based practices. As a speaker Jo has spoken on topics such as Listening, Storytelling, Presence, Unleashing Your Voice, Personal Sovereignty, Confidence and Communication.
