LaVada D. Humphrey is a keynote and TEDx speaker, author, development coach, facilitator and trainer. She is the Founder and CEO of PureRising, LLC, a Speaking and Talent Development group specializing in maximizing potential, confident leadership, engagement, communication, and self-discovery with an emphasis on shifting mindset, power of voice, fear and self-limiting beliefs.

A Chicago native, LaVada uses her voice and energy to inspire, empower, and to provoke thought. As a master storyteller, she has transformed her audience on stages, board rooms and facilitated hundreds of learning sessions working with leadership teams, women’s groups and as a conference speaker. As a professional with 25+ years of corporate and financial experience, she knows firsthand what motivates, inspires and ignites change when you align people to purpose and meaning.

LaVada is a graduate twice from Lewis University; with a Masters in Organizational Leadership and bachelors in Business Administration. She holds several certifications in personal and professional development.

A fun fact, LaVada hosted a radio show for six years that reached listeners in the Bahamas and Philippines. LaVada is passionate about helping others to “uncheck the boxes”, active their potent possibilities, discover and align to their purpose and strengths to fulfill their life’s work to lead, transform and elevate to the next level.
